The Carbon Bridge Team

The Carbon Bridge team has extensive experience in the renewable energy, gas and greenhouse industry.  The small Carbon Bridge team of experienced engineers and economists have an excellent understanding of the forces shaping the market which will guide the most appropriate strategy for projects reducing greenhouse emissions in South East Asia.  The team has been active in the Carbon and the CDM market in Asia since 2002.

About the Founder of Carbon Bridge

Bridget McIntosh

Bridget McIntosh is the Managing Director of Carbon Bridge. With ten years experience in the sustainable energy carbon markets, living and working in Asia and Australia, Bridget is well positioned to bridge the gap between carbon buyers and sellers across the globe. She has developed a good network and understanding of the market, enabling her to link potential project owners with the right partners and help both parties secure the best outcome.

While in South East Asia over the past 5 years, Bridget has worked with numerous project proponents, the World Bank and the Cambodian Government. She helped set up the Cambodian CDM Designated National Authority (DNA) and approval processes, as well as project identification and conduct CDM training. Prior to working in Asia, Bridget worked in Australia for Origin Energy, one of Australia's leading vertically integrated energy companies and the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) a unique greenhouse agency established to catalyse the sustainable energy industry. At SEDA, Bridget managed Australia's voluntary green electricity scheme. She started her career working in wastewater and waste management with an engineering consulting firm, CMPS&F, now GHD. She has an honours degree in Environmental Engineering and is currently completing her MBA.
